The story of the Gospel: 

•Forgiveness of sin and salvation is not earned by us. It’s the result of God‘s grace. 

•Through faith, also a gift from God, we believe and receive salvation. 

•This new identity unites all people to Himself and to one another (the Church)

Ephesians chapters 4–6

Because of our new identity in Christ:

•The Gospel should affect the way we live our lives

• we are empowered to engage in spiritual warfare, rejecting sin and growing in holiness that permeates every area of our lives
