Sermon July 30, 2017: A little bit from God can go a long way

Matthew 9:20 “Then, suddenly, a woman who had been suffering from hemorrhages for twelve years, came up behind them and touched the fringe of His cloak, for she said to herself: if I can touch His coat I will be made well. Jesus then turned, and seeing her, said: “take heart, daughter, your faith has made you well”. Now before I begin my sermon I will like to ask you to repeat a few words after me but I want you to do it in a loud voice, I want you to say these words: “a little bit from God can go a long way.”  Read More »

Sermon February 26, 2017: Flowing in the river of God

Ezekiel 47 is a wonderful chapter that begins with the place of sacrific; in chapter 47 verses 1 and 2, the river comes out of the temple, comes out of the place of sacrifice, and that’s our lives, as we give ourselves to Jesus the river begins to flow, and it talks about the river is reaching the ankles. You know: when we give our lives to Jesus how much of our lives do we actually give to Jesus? You say: Jesus you can have this much of our life.  Read More »

Sermon January 1, 2017: The year of the open door for God

And the letter that I just happened to be on for today is one that I could not have picked better for New Year’s day, I believe that in the providence of God this is a message that Jesus is speaking to us, Lion of Judah, today, so open your heart, Jesus has something to say to us today. Amen, Revelations chapter 3 verse 7 and I hope we can both read it here, it says: “To the angel of the Church in Philadelphia” right? how about that? Jesus wrote to Philadelphia, what about us here in Boston? There was a Philadelphia in Asia Minor two thousand years ago, okay?  Read More »

Sermon December 25, 2016: The gift of Christmas - Glory, Peace and Joy for all the world

We are gonna turn to the Word of God now, we are going to look at a couple different texts from the Scriptures, first of all we are going to look at Isaiah chapter 9 verse 1 to 7, and then we will take a look at the Gospel of Luke chapter 2: “Nevertheless there will be no more gloom for those who are in distress, in the past he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Napthali, but in the future he will honor Galilee of the nations, by the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan”  Read More »

Sermon November 27, 2016: Giving thanks

As you know we gather here for something and it’s the second time we have done this and it’ll hopefully become a type of tradition in the best sense of that word among us where we gather to say: thank You to God with an offering to Him of Thanksgiving. And we connect with the people of God throughout thousands of years starting with the ancient hebrews that came before God periodically, in an intentional way come before His Presence in the tabernacle to give an offering of Thanksgiving for what God had done in their lives.  Read More »

Sermon October 2, 2016: Are you willing to be an encourager?

The word encourage literally means to put on courage, the opposite of encourage is of course discourage. What is encouragement? It is to draw alongside someone and provide them with all sorts of positive, constructive action, so instead of feeling discouraged, depressed, they can hope to raise their head and have the courage, resources and strength to become the very person that God has called them to become.  Read More »

Sermon August 27, 2016: Wake up and go

So today’s message will be “Wake up and go” and there are 4 things I would like to share with you in regards to wake up and go. First we need to wake up and see that we are the Church. I would like to speak to you about a story that is very well known and due to time I will not be able to read the whole chapter, but I will be speaking about Jonah chapter 1.  Read More »

Sermon June 19, 2016: Tenacious in the tension

Today's sermon is entitled “Tenacious in the tension”, I’m gonna be reading from Joshua chapter 3 verse 14 to 4:7. Something that I always encourage our young people to do in our worshipping services is to never allow these moments to be a monolog where God talks at you but allow this to be a dialog where you take notes and you interact with the Spirit of the Lord because that way you remember the things that God left in your heart when you heard it. Alright so are you ready? Let’s do this, alright, here we go.  Read More »
